CBRE Arranges Sale of 232-Unit Tallahassee Multifamily Property

CBRE has arranged the sale of Meridian Place Apartments, a 232-unit multifamily community in Tallahassee. The sales price was not disclosed.

Located at 2000 North Meridian Road, the community was built in 1970 and last traded in 2017. Amenities include a new fitness center, new laundry facility, new community clubhouse, and two swimming pools. The property is due north of Midtown Tallahassee and is nearby Downtown Tallahassee, The Florida State Capitol and Florida State University.

Francesco Carriera and Michael Regan of CBRE represented the undisclosed seller in the transaction. The buyer was TCG Meridian Holdings.

“This transaction represents one of the first properties placed under contract and closed since mid-March,” said Carriera. “Although the property had some financial challenges related to operations, coupled with the uncertainty of today’s market, we were still able to garner significant interest.”
