CBRE Arranges Retail Leases at Upper West Side Rental Tower

CBRE arranged four new retail leases totaling 8,200 square feet in the retail portion of Stellar Management’s 667 Columbus Ave., a 31-story, 203-unit residential property between 92nd and 93rd streets on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. The CBRE retail team of David LaPierre and Kristen Crossman represented ownership.

Orangetheory Fitness leased 3,600 square feet, continuing to grow its New York presence with another UWS location. Morningside Playcare, an early childhood education center, leased 3,000 square feet and Peaky Barista, an upscale coffee and pastry café, leased 1,000 sq. ft. Cleanlab Cleaners, a high-end dry cleaner, leased 600 square feet in a relocation from 79th and Broadway.

“All four tenants were attracted to the property’s new construction as well as its outstanding location and proximity to strong neighborhood retailers that have continued to drive traffic throughout the pandemic, such as Trader Joe’s directly across the street,” said Crossman.
