CBRE Arranges $23M Sale of Weymouth Retail Center

CBRE has arranged the sale of Riverway Plaza, a 250,000-square-foot retail center in Weymouth, MA, for $23 million. An Institutional Investor acquired the property from CBRE Investment Management. The CBRE team, led by Nat Heald and Jordana Roet, managed the marketing and represented the seller.

“Investor demand for shopping center opportunities continues to increase throughout the region,” said Heald. “Riverway Plaza generated strong interest due to its excellent tenant lineup, below-market rents, and prime metro-Boston location.”

Located less than 12 miles from downtown Boston, Riverway Plaza is anchored by Lowe’s Home Improvement. The center, situated on 23 acres overlooking Hingham Bay and Boston Harbor, also includes tenants such as Michael’s, Dollar Tree, Papa Gino’s, and Staples.
