CBRE has welcomed Michael Affronti as executive managing director for the company’s Greater Boston advisory services business, which includes leasing, sales, valuations, debt and structured finance and property management.

In this role, Affronti is responsible for driving the company’s growth and delivering integrated client solutions in the Greater Boston area. His oversight includes the MA, RI and NH offices and more than 350 employees.

Affronti began his commercial real estate career with CBRE in 2011. Before joining CBRE, he enjoyed a five-year career in professional baseball with the Oakland Athletics and the Houston Astros. He has relocated to Boston from New York City.
