CBRE Appointed as Office Leasing Agent for Paramount Building

CBRE has been named the exclusive office leasing agent for the Paramount Building, an office tower built in 1926 as the headquarters of Paramount Pictures at 1501 Broadway. The CBRE team of Ryan Alexander, Jared Isaacson, Sam Spillane, and Taylor Walker will lead the office leasing campaign on behalf of ownership.

“We are thrilled to be working with ownership in bringing this one-of-a-kind, upgraded, and amenitized historic property to the market,” said Alexander. “Ownership has truly outdone itself with their comprehensive hospitality and design forward-built program, which will revolutionize our leasing efforts.”

The 33-story property contains 880,000 square feet of office space and 100,000 square feet of retail. Once the tallest building in Midtown, the office property underwent a $50-million capital improvement campaign in 2019. It has a long history of attracting high-quality entertainment and Broadway-related tenants, along with tenants in technology, advertising, media and information, education and law.
