CBRE Adds Retail Team of Breslin and Yip on Long Island

CBRE has made two strategic hires to bolster its retail practice on Long Island. Patrick Breslin and Kenny Yip have joined the firm as EVP and VP, respectively.

“For more than a decade, Pat and Kenny have established a strong retail partnership across the Tri-State region,” said Robert Caruso, CBRE senior managing director. “As seasoned professionals, this team will service Long Island retail occupiers, investors, and select corporate accounts.”

Breslin brings more than 30 years’ experience to CBRE. Before joining the firm, he was the executive managing director of the retail division at Colliers, with a specific focus on tenant representation. He has completed more than 12 million square feet of retail transactions valued at $10 billion.

Yip has worked with Breslin and his retail team spanning 15 years with Grubb & Ellis, Studley and Colliers. Over his career, he has helped many international brands break into the U.S. market.
