CBRE acquired the operations of Peloton Commercial Real Estate in San Antonio, making CBRE the leading provider of commercial property leasing, sales and managements services in and around the metro. Gardner Peavy, who heads up Peloton, will join CBRE as managing director for San Antonio, and he will be joined by 26 colleagues. He will report to Scott Senese, who heads up CBRE’s Austin and El Paso operations.

A CBRE spokesperson said the former Peloton staff would remain in its current office at 250 W. Nottingham Dr. for the time being.

In 2017, CBRE and Peloton’s San Antonio operations combined completed $681 million of sales and leasing transactions, and currently manage and/or lease over 20 million square feet of commercial property in the San Antonio market.

“We are extremely excited about what the combined operations represent in the San Antonio market–a broad and deep offering for our current and future clients utilizing some of the most talented service providers in the area,” Peavy said.
