CBL Unveils Dining, Entertainment Tenants for Former Sears in Brookfield

Construction is slated to begin early this month on the first phase of the former Sears building at CBL Properties’ Brookfield Square in the Milwaukee suburb of Brookfield, WI. The redevelopment will entail new dining and entertainment options, including a new-to-market entertainment concept, WhirlyBall, and the second location for the BistroPlex concept from Marcus Theatres.

“Since acquiring the Sears building last year and announcing our plans for future redevelopment, we have received significant demand from a variety of users interested in being a part of this transformative project,” said Stephen Lebovitz, CBL’s president and CEO. “We are thrilled to confirm the addition of these two world-class entertainment venues and commence construction.”

Planning is underway for additional phases of the redevelopment, which will include new dining options and other non-retail uses. CBL plans to announce more details over the coming months.
