Cava Restaurant Expands Chicagoland Footprint

Cava Group Inc. is opening more suburban Chicago locations after signing new leases in Buffalo Grove and Bolingbrook.

CBRE announced the completion of three new lease transactions for the Mediterranean-focused, fast-casual restaurant chain, with two in Bolingbrook and one in Buffalo Grove. The Mediterranean fast-casual restaurant chain signed a lease to occupy 2,800 square feet at the Shops at Buffalo Grove to replace restaurant Noodles and Company.

CBRE represented the landlord, Midwest Equities, in the three transactions. The team included Sean McCourt and Alex Corno, based in CBRE’s Chicago office. “Retail activity for premier high-visibility strip centers across the Chicago suburbs continues to show strong momentum,” said McCourt. In 2024, Cava began its expansion into Chicago with locations in Wicker Park, Hawthorn Mall in Vernon Hills and River Forest.
