Caruso’s Palisades Village Receives Final Approval
Los Angeles-based Caruso Affiliated received final LA City Council approval on Palisades Village, a 116,000-square-foot mixed-use complex in Pacific Palisades, CA. The redevelopment project is aimed at revitalizing an aging section of downtown Palisades into a thriving community center.
Palisades Village will include a movie theater, park, community space, grocery store, and retail shops, as well as eight multifamily units. The design vision by Boston-based Elkus Manfredi Architects calls for a collection of small, charming storefronts and restaurants in a series of one-and two-story buildings.
Caruso Affiliated envisions the 3.1-acre project as a walkable Main Street. Demolition work on Swarthmore Ave. is slated to start in August for a project expected to be open in summer 2018.
