Carroll Gardens Multifamily Sparks Bidding War

GFI Realty Services arranged the $3.925-million sale of 419 Clinton St., a four-story walk-up, 10-unit multifamily property in Brooklyn’s Carroll Gardens neighborhood.  Associate Zachary Fuchs represented both the seller, Edward Rubinchik, and the undisclosed buyer.

Constructed in 1900, the 7,398-square-foot property is comprised of one studio, five one-bedroom units and four two-bedroom units.  Seven of the apartments are free market.

“This property, located in one of the most desirable areas of Brooklyn, sparked a bidding war and closed above asking price,” said Fuchs. “This transaction proves that the multifamily marketplace in NYC is alive and well.”

Carroll Gardens is known for its brownstone blocks and commercial corridors lined with local eateries and retailers.  The property is situated a block from Court Street, one of the main commercial corridors in the area, and within walking distance of Whole Foods Market and Brooklyn Bridge Park.
