Carr Properties Breaks Ground on D.C.’s Signal House
Washington, D.C.-based Carr Properties broke ground on Signal House, a creative office project in Northeast Washington, D.C. The 225,000-square-foot development is located at 350 Morse St.
Carr Properties’ Oliver Carr says, “We’re excited to deliver a new creative office development into the historic Union Market neighborhood. Signal House will be the first new office development in Union Market and will add to the revitalization of an area that is becoming one of the most dynamic creative and retail destinations in the city.”
The 10-story trophy office building pays tribute to its historic industrial surroundings with a terracotta, metal, and glass exterior. Amenities include a penthouse with a demonstration kitchen, bar, recording studio, DJ booth, karaoke room, conference center, and Capitol views. Other features include 10,000 square feet of private terraces, 12 unfinished ceilings, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, below-grade parking, secure bike storage, and 12,500 square feet of retail.
Construction is slated for completion in Q1 2021.
