Carr JV Joins Boston’s 43-Story One Congress Development

A pair of Washington, D.C.-based companies formed a partnership to acquire One Congress, a planned 43-story, one-million-square-foot office development in Boston. Carr Properties and National Real Estate Advisors, LLC will own the project, and has retained Boston-based The HYM Investment Group, LLC to develop the tower.

The property at 1 Congress St. is located in the heart of downtown Boston, and will offer unrivaled views and visibility across the Boston skyline. The project’s central location is near public transit and numerous restaurants, shopping and neighborhood amenities.

Carr Properties’ Oliver T. Carr, III says, “We are excited and honored to be able to join with National and HYM in this signature office development for the city of Boston. One Congress is a transformational development that will offer a best-in-class environment, combining tremendous quality workspace and in-building amenities.”

The venture anticipates commencing construction of One Congress in the summer of 2019, and opening in 2022.
