Carmel Partners’ Cumulus Rising Near Hayden Tract
There’s still time to join us for Connect Los Angeles today at the Hotel Indigo in DTLA. Here is where to get more information and REGISTER.
Carmel Partners revealed the latest plans for Cumulus, a 1,200-unit residential development underway next to the Expo Line’s La Cienega/Jefferson station in Los Angeles. The San Francisco-based developer envisions a seven-story podium building and a 30-story high-rise, as well as 100,000 square feet of retail on the 11-acre site, a former radio broadcast facility near Culver City’s Hayden Tract.
The taller structure, with 300 units, is planned to rise 320 feet and will sit atop a parking podium and residential amenities. It was designed by Chicago architect Solomon Cordwell Buenz.
The mid-rise podium building will contain 910 units, and was designed by TCA Architects. It includes outdoor common areas and ground-floor shops and restaurants.
The buildings wrap around a one-acre public green space. The apartments are designed with high-ceilings, in-unit washer-dryer sets, and high-quality finishes. Amenities include a 24-hour concierge service, co-working space, 100,000 square feet of landscaped courtyards, fitness centers and rooftop decks.
