Carlsbad, Poway Industrial Spaces Filling Up

Carlsbad and Poway are seeing some industrial absorption of late.

In Poway, General Atomics Aeronautical Systems recently leased 112,000 square feet at the CT Realty-owned 13550 Stowe Drive. The transaction is valued at $4.2 million over its four-year term. Colliers International and Kidders Matthew represented CT, while the tenant represented itself.

Acutus Medical and GenMark Diagnostics both signed new leases in Carlsbad, totaling $14.5 million, according to Cushman & Wakefield. Acutus is taking up 46,000 square feet, while GenMark singed a lease for 34,000 square feet. Both leases are in the Regent Properties-owned Research Center Pointe.
