Carbon Cos. Start work on two Fredericksburg rental communities

Carbon Cos. Planning Two Hill Country Developments

Carbon Cos. has got its hands full, proceeding with two Fredericksburg multifamily projects. One development is your standard rental community, the other is a senior living community.

1846 is the name for its 234-unit apartment complex. Seven three-story buildings will house units from studio to two bedroom units. According to the Austin Business Journal the company notes the project is “aimed at millennial up to baby boomers.”

The other project is a senior living community called Woodland Cottages which will include 62 rental cottages over nine acres. The one and two bedroom options range in size from 900 to 1,400 square feet. Some will include garages, patios and fenced-in yards. The community will be gated, and amenities include a pool, fitness center, community center and on-site staff. The cottages will be restricted to residents at least 55 year old.

The first units for both expected to deliver between the third and fourth quarter of this year.
