Captain D’s Enters Hill Country, Opens in Burnet

Fast-casual seafood restaurant Captain D’s entered Central Texas’ Hill Country, opening a restaurant at 1404 S. Water St. in Burnet, in Austin’s far northwest corridor. The Burnet Captain D’s is owned and operated by Mohammad “Jimmy” K. Jamshed of Alaskan Ventures LLC, an established franchisee and multi-unit operator. The Burnet location, measuring 2,023 square feet, is the 16th in Texas overall.

Alaskan Ventures owns Captain D’s in Stephenville, TX and is currently developing another one in Early, TX. The franchisee also owns and operates five Burger King restaurants, as well as several convenience stores and gas stations.

So far in 2019, 11 new Captain D’s restaurants opened, with eight more slated to come online before the end of the year, and numerous agreements signed to expand its presence throughout the Southeast and Midwest.
