CapRidge Partners Adds Dekalb Technology Center to Atlanta Portfolio

CapRidge Partners — aided by Foundry Commercial — has acquired Dekalb Technology Center, a 285,000-square-foot flex park inside Atlanta, GA’s I-285 perimeter. The eight-building property is 67% leased.

“CapRidge continues to believe in the strong demand and low supply dynamic that has propelled the light industrial sector around the Sun Belt and Atlanta in particular,” said Dan Terpening, managing director, CapRidge Partners.

“The light industrial sector has continued to see strong tenant demand pushing current vacancy rates to sub-4 percent in spaces under 10,000 square feet,” added Foundry SVP Reid Hanner and Jordan Camp. “Given this trend, we see rents continuing to aggressively run in the small bay sector of Atlanta’s infill submarkets”

The purchase marks nearly 900,000 square feet of Atlanta-area acquisitions for Austin, TX-based CapRidge in the previous 12 months:

  • Cobblestone Business Park, Woodstock
  • Franklin Forest, Atlanta
  • Whittier Mill Complex, Atlanta
  • Lakeridge Court, Cobb County
  • Westfork Business Park, Douglas County
