Capital Square Tees Up Augusta Submarket Multifamily for $27M DST Offering
Glen Allen, VA-based Capital Square has acquired Lakeside on Riverwatch Apartments, a 200-unit garden-style multifamily community in the Augusta submarket of Martinez, GA. The community was acquired on behalf of CS1031 Lakeside on Riverwatch Apartments, DST, which seeks to raise $26.8 million in equity.
Paul Vetter of Berkadia represented the seller, which recently completed renovations on 95% of the units.
The property is located at 4300 River Watch Parkway on Interstate 20 between Atlanta and Columbia, with easy access to interstates 95 and 77. Multiple retail outlets, including Publix, Kroger, Target and Walmart, are minutes from the property, as is the Columbia County Performing Arts Center and Riverside Park.
The 19.28-acre community offers one-, two- and three-bedroom units. Amenities include a recently renovated clubhouse and fitness center, swimming pool with sundeck, grilling area, package delivery room, and dog park with agility course and washing station.
