Capexco Breaks Ground on $35M Poway MXU

Canadian-based Capexco Inc. commenced construction on Outpost, a $35-million three-building mixed-use development in Poway, CA. The 53-unit residential project is located on a 1.58-acre infill site at 13247 Poway Rd.

The mix of uses also includes a food hall, as well as a fitness, health and lifestyle center. The urban food hall will have up to 15 artisan food concepts from around San Diego, and is attracting strong interest from familiar and favorite food and beverage artisans.

The fitness center will be housed in a 20,000 plus-square-foot space, offering cardio, weights, spin classes, kids’ care and group classes. Outpost will have a wide pedestrian paseo between the buildings, with outdoor seating and an expansive upstairs patio above the food hall.

The project is expected to be completed in fall 2019. Outpost is the first development to implement the newly-updated Poway Road Specific Plan.

Dennis has developed and managed national communications programs for Fortune 500 companies to start-ups, both public and private. He’s successfully worked with journalists across the globe representing clients involved in major-breaking news stories, product launches, media tours, and company news announcements. Dennis has been involved in a host of charitable and community organizations including the American Cancer Society, Easter Seals, BoyScouts, Chrysalis Foundation, Freedom For Life, HOLA, L.A.’s BEST, Reach Out and Read, Super Bowl Host Committee, and Thunderbirds Charities.
