Canopy by Hilton Readies to Make Debut in Scottsdale Old Town

Miller Global Properties is set to open the Canopy by Hilton Scottsdale Old Town in September. The seven-story, 177-room hotel is the first new-build hotel opening in the area in more than a decade.

The full-service property in the historic arts district at 7142 E. 1st St. will offer 2,000 square feet of meeting space, as well as two new dining concepts: a ground-floor Southwest cuisine restaurant featuring local ingredients, as well as a rooftop pool and bar.

Another Canopy by Hilton property opened in Tempe earlier this summer as part of the chain’s 2020 expansion plans for 20 hotel openings across seven countries. The upper upscale lifestyle Canopy brand brings a local feel and seeks to appeal to younger travelers.

Canopy by Hilton’s Devin Mahoney says, “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to lead the expansion of the city’s historic arts district and offer a new hotel experience that gives locals and travelers a new destination to work, rest and play within Scottsdale.”
