Cancer Biopharm Expands with KBS in Emeryville

Newport Beach, CA-based KBS signed a 21,221-square-foot lease expansion with BeiGene USA, Inc. at the Towers at Emeryville. The Emeryville, CA property is part of the KBS Real Estate Investment Trust III portfolio.

The three-building, 815,018-square-foot Class A office park is situated on the Emeryville shoreline. Located at 1900, 2000 and 2200 Powell St., the property provides panoramic views of the San Francisco Bay, skyline and the Golden Gate Bridge.

KBS’ Brent Carroll says, “Towers at Emeryville is a key property of the KBS Real Estate Investment Trust III portfolio, thanks to its beautiful location and high-class amenities.”

Cushman & Wakefield’s Cale Miller represented the tenant. Cushman & Wakefield’s Ryan Hattersley, Daniel Bisabri and Elisa Konik advised the landlord.

The tenant is a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing and commercializing molecularly-targeted and immuno-oncology drugs for the treatment of cancer.
