Canadian Manufacturer Opens 275K-SF Mesa Factory

The first phase of Xnrgy Climate Systems’ 275,000 square foot manufacturing plant is open and ready to go. The Montreal-based company makes climate control systems for data centers. The plant is in the 270-acre mixed-use Gateway East park in Mesa. According to the Phoenix Business Journal, the company plans to spend $300 million on the Mesa facility and eventually build out 1 million square feet across four structures. The company will start with 130 workers and eventually ramp up to 300 by the end of the year. They eventually have plans for 1,000 employees at full buildout.

Xnrgy’s new manufacturing facility was developed by The Boyer Company, the developers of the Gateway East park.

Wespac Construction is the general contractor of the Xnrgy facility. Gensler is the architect of the project.
