Canadian Consulate Consolidates to Park Avenue Address
The Permanent Mission of Canada to the United Nations and the Consulate General of Canada in New York are taking down 77,000 square feet with a new lease at 237 Park Avenue. The two organizations, which are relocating and consolidating, are taking part of the 19th and entire 20th floor of the building, owned by RXR Realty.
Canada’s United Nations embassy currently has approximately 31,000 square feet at One Dag Hammarskjold Plaza. Meanwhile, the consulate general is situated at 1251 Avenue of the Americas, where it occupies 55,000 square feet.
RXR Realty’s William Elder and Lauren Ferrentino self-represented the landlord. The tenant reps were David Goldstein and Greg Taubin of Savills Studley.
