Canada Encourages Axe-Throwing in Chicago’s West Loop
Bad Axe Throwing, a Canadian company specializing in indoor axe-throwing parties, will open its first U.S. location in Chicago’s West Loop. The location at 165 N. Loomis St. will open in September.
Though axe-throwing has taken over Canada, with Bad Axe Throwing opening 10 locations across the country since 2014, it still has yet to really take hold in the U.S. Bad Axe Throwing specializes in birthday parties, bachelor parties and corporate events.
No experience is required, with participants learning how to throw an axe at a target. The environment is controlled, with coaches and axe experts keeping an eye on things.
