Campus Apartments Snags 600-Bed JMU Student Housing Community in Virginia

National student housing owner and operator Campus Apartments LLC has acquired Aspen Heights Harrisonburg, a 600-bed cottage-style student housing community located nearby James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. The sales price was not disclosed.

The community consists of a mix of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom units. Amenities include a 24-hour fitness center, computer lab, study lab, study lounge, tanning bed, campus shuttle, volleyball court and pool.

Campus Apartments plans to rebrand the property and implement a value-add plan that will consist of enhancements to the clubhouse and exterior areas of the property. CBRE brokered the sale of the community on behalf of seller, Aspen Heights.
