Cambridge Relocates U.S. HQ to Irvine Co.’s Santa Clara Square
Cambridge Industries Group (CIG) is relocating its U.S. HQ to Santa Clara Square in Santa Clara, CA. The global telecom wired and wireless networking equipment company signed a lease for 75,000 square feet at the 100-acre mixed-use community and plans to take occupancy in mid-2017.
Architectural firm Pei Cobb Freed & Partners designed the 1.7-million-square-foot workplace, featuring modern architecture, floor-to-ceiling glass for superior natural light, and efficient floor plans for maximum flexibility.
Two of the three completed office buildings at Santa Clara Square are leased. Five additional 220,000-square-foot buildings are under construction and will be completed by the middle of 2017. CIG will move into one of the new buildings.
CBRE’s Matt Taylor, Tom Taylor, and Robbie Taylor, CIG. CBRE’s Mark Schmidt, and Daniel Schmidt represented the Irvine Co.
