Karen Hu Camber Property Group affordable housing development

Camber Names New EVP and Head of Development

Karen Hu has joined Camber Property Group as its new EVP and head of development.  Hu brings nearly two decades of experience in real estate development to Camber spanning both the public and private sectors. Most recently, she was a principal at The Hudson Companies, where she focused on both affordable and market-rate housing.    

“Karen has an impressive track record in the industry demonstrated by her considerable acumen in the development of all types of housing, be it affordable or market-rate,” said Rick Gropper, principal of Camber. 

Hu added, “Camber Property Group is a company that is dedicated to the development and preservation of affordable housing across the five boroughs, and I am honored to be a part of their team. I look forward to working with my new colleagues to develop impactful projects that help to preserve affordability in every corner of New York City.”
