Callan Ridge Gets Underway in Torrey Pines Science Park

Project Management Advisors Inc. (PMA), BNBuilders and Healthpeak Properties recently broke ground on Callan Ridge, a life sciences development at 3020 and 3030 Callan Rd. in San Diego’s Torrey Pines Science Park. The project will replace two aging buildings with two new three-story scientific research buildings totaling 185,000 rentable square feet.

The original buildings will soon be demolished, making way for the development to be delivered in first quarter 2023. Tenant Turning Point Therapeutics is anticipated to move in during second quarter 2023.

The new buildings in the science park will include a 105,000-square-foot and an 80,000-square-foot building, both of which will share an underground parking garage totaling 137,900 square feet. The project includes significant site improvements and sustainable features.

“This is PMA’s second groundbreaking with Healthpeak in San Diego this month, and we’re honored that our ongoing work with them is coming to fruition in the midst of such an unprecedented year,” said Crista Swan, senior project manager, PMA.
