Callahan Completes 225-Unit Senior Housing Project in Cape Cod

Callahan Construction Managers have completed the 225-unit Everleigh Cape Cod in Barnstable. The property is owned by global multifamily developer Greystar, and was designed by The Architectural Team.

The Everleigh is a 338,695-square-foot building and is the first active, independent 55+ living community in Cape Cod. The four-story building includes a 143-space underground parking garage, and was framed over a steel and concrete podium.

Amenities at the property include more than 17,000 square feet of recreational space, a pool, dog park, pickle ball and bocce courts, theater and fitness center. The building also includes a chef’s kitchen, business center, library and art gallery.

“The Everleigh project required unique permitting from the Cape Cod Commission as well as the FAA.” said David Morrow, project executive at Callahan. “The 143-space, underground parking garage is also the first of its size on Cape Cod, making it a unique project for the area.”
