California’s Recon Nexus Heads West – To Hawaii
Recon Nexus, a California-based networking group targeting the construction sector, is expanding to Hawaii. According to group board member Ryan McGuire, Hawaii is an ideal target because “it’s an exciting market and there is a lot of money involved.”
McGuire said the chapter would meet once a quarter, with the intent of bringing together industry professionals for networking purposes. Recon Nexus’ membership consists of those directly involved in procurement and delivery of real estate projects. The group has chapters in San Francisco, Silicon Valley and Sacramento.
According to McGuire, the Hawaii chapter still has spots remaining on the board, and is looking for a chapter president. All board positions are unpaid.
