- Sabra Health Care REIT, Inc., based in Irvine, appointed Jessica Flores as EVP and chief accounting officer. Flores currently serves as Sabra’s SVP – finance and controller, a position she has held since January 2022. She joined Sabra in March 2011 and has held various leadership positions overseeing Sabra’s accounting during that time.
- Law firm Sklar Kirsh LLP said partners Serineh Baghdasarian and Elan Bloch have been named to the Los Angeles Business Journal’s “2023 Leaders of Influence: Thriving in Their 40s.” This yearly accolade highlights prominent professionals in the Los Angeles area who are in their 40s and exhibit continuous success in both their professional sphere and community involvement. Baghdasarian is a partner in the firm’s real estate department, while Bloch is a partner in the firm’s commercial and real estate litigation groups.
- T3 Sixty, a strategic management consulting firm in the residential real estate industry, appointed Cynthia Nowak as VP of communications and Dawn Sroka as VP of event operations. Nowak and Sroka will support the Ladera Ranch-based company’s mission to provide solutions and insights to real estate leaders.
- Brandy Nelson has joined brokerage Equity Union as executive director, REO/foreclosure properties division in the Coachella Valley. She will be one of the firm’s anchor agents in its newly acquired Rancho Mirage branch with her team, Brandy Nelson Associates. In addition to being a broker, Nelson is a CCIM candidate, condo specialist and land specialist.
- San Jose Downtown Association hired Robert Robledo as director of marketing and communications. Robledo will focus on enhancing partnerships with members; work with executive leadership to lead strategic paths forward in MarCom; engage with creative events team; and explore new opportunities in the community. He was recently appointed to the board of directors of The Health Trust.
- The California Hotel & Lodging Association promoted A.J. Rossitto to advocacy director, a move aligning with the association’s commitment to deepening its legislative activities and engaging on vital issues that concern the state’s more than 260,000 hotel employees and over 6,500 lodging establishments. Rossitto’s promotion comes along with his new law degree and recent membership into the State Bar of California.
- Caring Transitions, a provider of senior relocation and transition services, said Luis and Corine Peralta have acquired the territory in northern San Diego. Previously centered around Carlsbad, Caring Transitions of Carlsbad, La Jolla, and Temecula has expanded to include more communities.
- Mill Valley-based net lease REIT Four Corners Property Trust closed 2023 with a flurry of acquisitions. The most recent was a Tire Discounters property in Kentucky for $1.8 million via sale-leaseback transaction. Previously, FCPT acquired two Popeyes properties in Arizona and Illinois for $4.7 million, and before that bought a Tire Discounters property in Ohio for $1.7 million, also through a sale-leaseback.
