  • Prologis has promoted Reid Lewis to VP, market officer for the Central Valley market. In his new role, Lewis oversees Prologis’ operating portfolio in the market, which comprises over 22.6 million square feet across 44 facilities in the Tracy, Lathrop and Stockton submarkets, as well as team talent and customer engagement. He assumes the responsibilities of Matt Drury, who will retire after nearly 10 years in the role and a 23-year tenure at Prologis.  
  • Tony Sertich is the new executive director of the California Housing Finance Agency after being appointed by Gov. Gavin Newsom. Sertich most recently served as the Assistant deputy director over the Division of State Financial Assistance at the California Department of Housing and Community Development, and served as CalHFA Financing Risk Manager, director of multifamily programs and director of enterprise risk management and compliance between 2005 and 2018. 
  • Jacobson Equities appointed Grant Geisen as director of investments. He will lead the firm’s investment initiatives, including sourcing, evaluating, and executing acquisitions that align with Jacobson Equities’ long-term strategy of acquiring well-located multifamily and student housing assets across key U.S. markets. Geisen brings nearly two decades of experience in multifamily investment. He spent 18 years with Pacific Urban Investors, where he was responsible for the firm’s Southern California investment activity.  
  • Seabreeze Management Company, Inc., a leading residential and commercial property management firm, announced that Alisa Toalson, current VP, community management, has been promoted to president, community management. Toalson joined Seabreeze in 2016, where she has led community management teams. Over the course of her 23-year career, she has held numerous positions across all levels.  
  • Procore Technologies, Inc., a global provider of construction management software, appointed Ajei Gopal as CEO designate and a member of the company’s board. Gopal will succeed Procore’s founder, president and CEO Tooey Courtemanche following the public announcement of the company’s third-quarter financial results. Courtemanche will then transition out of operational responsibilities and focus on his role as board chair. 
  • Francis “Skip” Igoe Jr., a respected leader in engineering, construction, and real estate development, passed away on Sept. 13 in Foster City at age 83. Igoe’s six-decade career left a profound mark on the industry and the communities he served. He held leadership roles with companies including General Electric, Wilsey & Ham, Lincoln Property, NeXT, Octel, 3Com, PeopleSoft, Sares Regis Group of Northern California, and Google, where he oversaw groundbreaking projects such as the Bay View Campus—the world’s largest net-zero building—and the Timber building in Sunnyvale.
