- Colliers has added Grant Hyjer to its Oakland office, where he will specialize in industrial leasing, sales, and investment across the I-880 corridor and the broader East Bay as SVP. Hyjer brings over a decade of high-level industrial advisory experience, servicing both landlord and tenant representation, offering a standout reputation and deep market knowledge. Most recently, he supported the sales and leasing strategy of industrial and R&D properties along the I-880 corridor as a Director at Cushman & Wakefield.
- Allen Matkins announced that Kristen Di Zinno has joined the firm as chief business development and marketing officer. Prior to joining Allen Matkins, Kristen was director of client development at Goodwin, where she led strategic initiatives for the firm’s Global Real Estate Industry Group, partnering with firm and practice leaders to identify business opportunities, strengthen key client relationships, and advance the group’s market strategy.
- Branden McBirney has joined Northmarq’s El Segundo office as SVP. McBirney specializes in commercial real estate debt placement across multifamily, affordable housing, retail and industrial properties, with a particular focus on agency financing. McBirney joins Northmarq from Berkadia, where he spent more than a decade financing properties across a broad range of asset classes.
- Pegasus has appointed Sophia Kessler and Ariadna Mencias as Senior Leasing Associates, along with Makayla Hoehn and Sayaka Matsumoto as Leasing Associates, marking the next phase in the continued growth of the firm’s advisory platform. Collectively, the four professionals join Pegasus from some of the commercial real estate industry’s most respected firms, bringing deep experience across landlord and tenant representation, institutional advisory, and national retail leasing.
- Camelback Equity Partners has recently hired Lily Choy as Director, Finance & Accounting in Scottsdale, AZ. She will help build and scale its accounting and financial operations infrastructure for the firm. Camelback is an entrepreneurial and rapidly growing real estate investment and development platform and is actively executing on a significant pipeline of multifamily, retail, and mixed-use development projects. Lily was previously the Real Estate and Reporting Controller for Ensemble Investments in Phoenix. Executive search firm RETS Associates handled the search.
- Sightbridge Capital Partners, LLC has appointed Katie Peterson and Nick Brakovich as managing directors, private wealth. The appointments expand the firm’s private wealth team ahead of the launch of its first programs. Sightbridge partners with institutional real estate owner-operators to bring tax-advantaged real estate programs to the U.S. private wealth channel.
- Tangram Interiors, one of the nation’s largest commercial interiors firms and a leading Steelcase dealer serving Southern California and Dallas–Fort Worth,has completed an ownership and leadership transition. Nick Meter, Tangram’s president, has been named president and chief executive officer, succeeding Joe Lozowski, who led the company as chief executive for 25 years. Meter led a management buyout, acquiring a significant stake in the company from the Lozowski family, which retains a minority interest.
