- Ed Nekritz and Colleen McKeown will retire as chief legal officer and chief human resources officer at Prologis, effective Jan. 1, 2025. Current deputy general counsel Deborah Briones and SVP of human resources Nathaalie Carey will succeed Nekritz and McKeown. Nekritz and McKeown will continue to serve as senior advisors to the company in 2025.
- Colliers West region brokerage president David A. Josker is now a two-time L.A. Times B2B Publishing CRE Visionary honoree. Announced annually, the list recognizes Los Angeles-based industry leaders whose keen intuition steers their companies and people to sustained growth.
- Chris Conley has been appointed as chief revenue officer at Evocative, a global provider of Internet infrastructure. Conley brings more than 25 years of experience to Evocative’s core leadership to drive the company through an ambitious growth phase. He joins Evocative from his role as CRO at Evoque Data Centers, currently Centersquare, where he helped lead the company’s market expansion efforts.
- Newport Beach-based Buchanan Street Partners appointed Stacia Hatfield as SVP, investor relations. Based in the Bay Area, Hatfield will be responsible for growing Buchanan’s network of investment advisors/RIAs, as well as assisting the Investor Relations team in servicing Buchanan’s broad base of investors, including investor reporting. With 20-plus years’ experience, Hatfield most recently held positions at DeVoe & Company and The Carlyle Group.
- Storm Properties Inc., a Torrance-based developer, owner, and manager of residential, industrial and commercial properties, hired Alma Recinto as senior accounting and finance manager. Recinto brings more than 20 years of experience in real estate development and property management to the Storm team. Before joining Storm, she held controller and accounting positions at real estate investment, development and property management firms including Circle Industrial, Legacy Partners and Pacifica Companies.
- Service by Medallion president Roland Strick has been named to the “Top 40 Silicon Valley Leaders to Watch” list by the Association for Corporate Growth, a global organization for middle-market growth. This recognition highlights Strick’s leadership, growth strategies and excellence in contributions to the company’s growth in the competitive facilities management landscape. Under Strick’s leadership, Service by Medallion has expanded its reputation as a provider of facility services and workplace solutions.
- Jim Stanley has been promoted to EVP, division manager for Los Angeles at Suffolk, one of the largest real estate and construction enterprises in the country. In his 16 years at Suffolk, Stanley has led growth in Southern California. Originally joining as a project manager, he quickly rose through the ranks becoming VP of operations and COO in 2018 and 2020, respectively.
- Granite has been awarded an approximately $36-million contract by the California Department of Transportation to rehabilitate pavement along Highway 162 in Mendocino County. The project will improve 25 miles of roadway, the only highway connection to the Covelo-Round Valley area. Project funding comes from both federal funds and the California Senate Bill.
- Pacific Retail Capital Partners won four awards at ICSC’s Global MAXI ceremony earlier this month. PRCP received three Gold and one Silver MAXIs, across multiple categories, bringing the total number of MAXIs it has won in its history to 27.
- Orange County Community Housing Corporation received a $1-million grant from Citi Foundation as part of the fourth cohort of the Community Progress Makers initiative. It joins the fourth cohort of the Community Progress Makers Initiative that was launched by Citi Foundation to provide unrestricted funding to organizations that work locally to connect low-income communities to greater economic opportunity and was the only nonprofit awarded in Orange County.
