- Interstate Equities Corporation (IEC), a vertically integrated real estate investment and management firm specializing in multifamily properties throughout California and the Seattle area, has appointed Nikki Chavez as director of capital formation. Chavez brings nearly a decade of experience across commercial real estate, investor relations and capital raising. Her background includes roles at Berkadia, PIMCO and Healthpeak Properties, Inc.
- Storm Properties Inc., a developer, owner, and manager of residential, industrial and commercial properties, announced that Chad Lonski has joined the company as acquisitions manager. Lonski brings significant experience in residential land acquisition, financial underwriting, entitlement strategy and market analysis.
- Gildred Companies, a diversified commercial real estate and investment firm based in San Diego, has promoted Brook Logan to CEO. Logan previously served as COO, following her tenure as CFO.
- BuildOps, a developer of field service management software for commercial contractors, has named Will Lehrmann as chief product officer. Lehrmann spent nearly 12 years at Procore Technologies, where he rose from product manager to VP of product management and served as head of product for specialty contractors.
- The Boldt Company appointed Brooke Higman to VP of regional construction operations for its California operations. Higman brings more than 25 years of industry experience, including five years with Boldt. She joined as project executive before advancing to operations manager.
- TRC, a privately held retail real estate operating company that owns and manages neighborhood retail shopping centers, is seeking an Investment Management Analyst in Irvine, CA. The analyst will maintain and update Argus models, support portfolio valuations, and assist with investment memos, due diligence, and transaction execution for acquisitions, dispositions, and financings. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 4 years commercial real estate experience with strong financial modeling, Argus and analytical skills. Executive search firm RETS Associates is handling the search. - Local Initiatives Support Corporation, one of the nation’s largest community development financial institutions, has launched the 2026 California Affordable Housing Development Training Institute in partnership with Merritt Community Capital Corporation. The statewide program is designed to equip emerging and early‑career affordable housing practitioners with the technical skills, tools, and peer network they need.
