  • Kidder Mathews hired Dave Evans in its Silicon Valley office as EVP. A veteran of the commercial real estate industry, Evans brings more than four decades of experience specializing in leasing, sales, and consulting services for industrial property users and owners. He spent more than 37 years with Colliers.  
  • Trion Properties, a private equity real estate firm specializing in value-add multifamily investments, appointed Natalina Rettew, a former senior executive at LivCor, a Blackstone Company, as head of asset management. Rettew brings more than a decade of multifamily real estate experience and a strong track record of driving portfolio performance at scale. 
  • CareTrust REIT, Inc., based in San Clemente, has hired Roger Laty, who joins CareTrust as SVP of tax, and Derek Bunker, who joins as SVP of strategy and investor relations. Laty most recently served for 12 years as VP – tax at UDR, Inc. Bunker served as CIO and EVP of The Pennant Group. 
  • Real estate investment executive Faris Mansour has joined Westcore, an industrial-focused private equity firm. Westcore created Faris’ position of managing director, head of portfolio management as it anticipates continued platform growth. Over his career, Mansour has participated in nearly $17 billion in real estate and infrastructure transactions. 
  • CenterPoint has named Pete Williams its new West Region SVP of investments. He’s based in the firm’s newly opened Manhattan Beach office. Williams joins CenterPoint from LA-based North Palisade Partners, where he sourced acquisitions throughout California as VP of investments since 2021.    
  • Bayview PACE announced that Shelah Wallace and Robert Haight have joined the firm as C-PACE finance originators in support of its continued U.S. expansion. Haight joins as VP of originations in San Diego, while Wallace joins as SVP of loan originations based in Philadelphia. 
  • Jurnya hospitality technology company, appointed Paul Tuscano as strategic board advisor. Currently chief digital officer at KFC and former senior executive at Marriott International, Tuscano brings over two decades of experience leading enterprise-scale product innovation for global brands. 
  • Build Group, a privately held general contractor, construction manager and design-builder, appointed Brian Davey as president of Build Group Signature Interiors. With more than two decades at San Francisco-based Build Group, Davey has led projects ranging from complete ground-up builds to high-end structures across California.  
  • Snappt, a verification platform for the multifamily industry, has appointed James Hyde as CEO. He succeeds co-founder Daniel Berlind, who will transition to executive chairman. 
  • Rently, a provider of self-touring, smart access and home automation solutions for the rental industry, expanded its smart access ecosystem with a new line of security and surveillance solutions. The Los Angeles-based company said security cameras strategically positioned throughout multifamily complexes provide a sense of security to residents, help to boost occupancy rates and decrease turnover, and help deter crime and reduce risks. 
  • Palo Alto-based Scenera, a developer of AI-powered sensing technologies, has launched BlindEye, a privacy-first occupancy intelligence platform designed to unlock new levels of operational insight, safety, and efficiency without compromising personal privacy. Scenera said BlindEye is already trusted by global brands.
