- CenterCal Properties has added three new team members to its senior executive team. Erick Klafter joins the El Segundo-based firm as SVP of asset and property management, John Kim joins as general counsel and Bill Cluverius joins as senior business development director.
- San Diego-based BioMed Realty has promoted three officers. They include Colleen O’Connor to EVP, market lead, East Coast & UK markets; Joanna Hilvert to VP, integration, environmental and ESG; and Dan Krachon to VP, facilities. The three bring a total of more than six decades of experience to their new roles.
- Kidder Mathews has added Steve Hunt as an SVP in Silicon Valley. With nearly four decades of experience in commercial real estate, Hunt brings a wealth of expertise in office sales and leasing, particularly within Santa Clara County. He has extensive knowledge of the Silicon Valley office sector, having spent 25 years working at Colliers in the downtown San Jose office and, most recently, at Avison Young in San Jose.
- Strategy Law said that that Jack Easterbrook, Serge Filatov, Jason Murai and Tamara Pow have all been named on the Northern California 2024 Super Lawyers List. The Super Lawyers list recognizes no more than 5% of attorneys in each state to receive this honor. Easterbrook, Filatov and Pow have been named to the list for multiple consecutive years, while Murai was previously selected to the Super Lawyers Rising Stars List in 2020.
- Sunnyvale-based Matterport, Inc. announced its partnership with FBS, a provider of Multiple Listing Service (MLS) technology and owner of the Flexmls platform. The partnership enables Flexmls users to upload their Matterport digital twins, and autofill dimensional data from those twins directly into the Flexmls platform.
- Zego, a Global Payments company and property management automation platform, has launched Resident Payouts. The San Diego-based company said the product automates security deposit refunds, helping to ensure a smooth and efficient move-out process for residents and property management teams.
- Commercial real estate family office Capital Max has partnered with Encinitas-based Blooma, an AI-driven origination and portfolio monitoring platform. This partnership intends to apply enhanced efficiency and decision-making processes through advanced technological integration to CRE financing.
