  • Clarion Partners LLC, a leading real estate investment manager, said Brett Kahn has joined the firm as managing director and head of asset management – housing. Based in Los Angeles, Kahn will lead Clarion’s asset management platform for its growing housing portfolio. 
  • Kidder Mathews added David Berookhim as VP at the firm’s San Fernando Valley office. He specializes in net lease acquisitions and dispositions and spent nearly a decade at Marcus & Millichap before joining Kidder Mathews. 
  • PulteGroup promoted Norman Brown to president of its Southern California division. With nearly 23 years of experience with the company, Brown will lead all aspects of the division’s homebuilding operations. In 2024, PulteGroup’s Southern California division generated homebuilding revenues of approximately $850 million. 
  • Private investment firm Angeles Equity Partners, LLC announced Eshang Saini has joined Angeles Operations Group as VP, Operations. Saini brings operations, transformation, and integration experience across the industrials sector, with a background spanning management consulting, product management and engineering. 
  • Brian Davey has been promoted to president of Signature Interiors, a newly branded division dedicated to tenant improvements, within Build Group of Companies. He brings more than two decades of experience to the new role. 
  • Irvine-based Ware Malcomb, an international design firm, announced that CBRE’s U.S. Design Collective team will join the firm effective July 2. The U.S. Design Collective team is comprised of interior design, architecture, MEP, structural engineering and experiential design specialists. Team members are in several U.S. markets, including Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Miami, Dallas, Nashville and Seattle. 
  • Los Angeles-based Nadel Architects launched Third Space, a new studio dedicated to designing community-focused destinations that foster connection, discovery, and lasting emotional impact. Led by Nadel chairman and president Greg Lyon, the new venture brings together industry veterans John Simones and Curtis Scharfenaker.

His tenure in B2B publishing stretches back into the print era, and he has served as Editor in Chief on four national trade publications. Since 1999, Paul has volunteered as the newsletter editor of passenger rail advocacy groups (one national, one local).
