  • Urban and resort new development marketing and sales leaders Mike LeipartAndrew Wachtfogel and Wade Hundley, along with brokerage operator Shane Farkas, have launched Redeavor, a real estate firm specializing in development sales, advisory services and capital investment. Redeavor debuts with $4 billion in current global real estate represented and offices in New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, Las Vegas and Nashville. 
  • Kidder Mathews added Jon Mitchell and senior associate Xavier Hendricks in Orange County. Mitchell brings 29 years of experience in multifamily investment sales, having successfully closed over 400 transactions totaling more than $2 billion. Hendricks specializes in multifamily investments across Orange County and San Diego County. 
  • Kelly Alcaraz was recently hired by Nearon Enterprises as Vice President, Investments in Walnut Creek, CA. Nearon is a private real estate investment company with $1B in AUM, with a focus on value-add opportunities in Western markets. Reporting to the President, she will be responsible for sourcing and executing Industrial and Multifamily investments across target West Coast markets. Kelly was previously a Director of Transactions with BlackRock. Executive search firm RETS Associates handled the search.   
  • Los Angeles-based industrial development and investment firm Dedeaux Properties has promoted Matt Evans to president. He will continue his role as CIO. In addition, COO Alon Kraft also will assume the duties of CFO. 
  • The California State University, Fullerton College of Business and Economics Center for Real Estate named NAIOP SoCal CEO Tim Jemal its Commercial Real Estate Man of the Year for 2025. The honor was announced during the recent Commercial Real Estate Forum presented by the Center for Real Estate, where hundreds of students, faculty and real estate professionals attended a comprehensive forecast and outlook, networking event and awards ceremony. 
  • Jacqueline Reed, DBIA, project development director at Latitude 33 Planning & Engineering, has been named to Engineering News-Record (ENR) West’s inaugural list of Top Young Professionals for 2025. She was one of 30 individuals under the age of 40 selected for this recognition from nearly 100 nominees across the West Region. Reed will be featured in the first edition of ENR West in March 2025, and will automatically be considered for ENR’s National Top 20 Under 40.   
  • Interior Logic Group (ILG), a provider of interior home design and finish solutions for the building industry, has expanded its leadership team with the addition of Gary Mayo as executive of business development. Mayo will play a pivotal role in spearheading ILG’s growth strategy, focusing on expanding sales. 
  • Yardi has acquired LCP Media, a visual media technology company that creates virtual tours, photography and other media for the rental housing industry. The company said LCP bringing visual media expertise to the Yardi multifamily suite of offerings.
