  • Institutional Property Advisors (IPA), a division of Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI) dedicated to serving the company’s institutional clients, announced that Max Unger, a retail real estate investment advisor with more than 20 years of institutional experience has joined IPA as a managing director in Los Angeles. Unger will advise institutional and major private clients on retail investment transactions in partnership with IPA’s Tom Lagos and Patrick Toomey. Previously, Unger was with Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield for 14 years where, as senior vice president and director of U.S. tax and investments, he helped lead mergers and acquisitions valued at over $60 billion, closed $3.6 billion in divestments, and reduced a 70-property portfolio to 15 properties. 
  • Great American Holdings, LLC, a provider of financial advisory, valuation, asset disposition, investment banking, and lending services and majority-owned by funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. , has appointed Joseph Malfitano as president & head of its Retail, Merchant & Industrial Solutions business lines. Maltifano brings more than 25 years of experience advising companies in the retail, industrial, and commercial sectors through complex restructurings, turnarounds, and high-profile transactions.  

ICO Development, a 35+ year privately held CRE investment/operating firm with ~$500MM AUM, has hired Daysi Warren as Chief Operating & Financial Officer in Los Angeles. She will partner closely with executive leadership to drive business planning, oversee financial performance, and support growth through strategic financing, reporting, and operational oversight. Daysi was previously CFO with Redcar Properties. Executive search firm RETS Associates handled the search. 

  • Cushman & Wakefield announced that Jamie K. Brooks has joined as a managing director in its Retail Leasing practice, based in the firm’s El Segundo office. Brooks brings more than 21 years of retail real estate experience and has completed more than $1 billion in aggregate lease and sale transaction consideration throughout his career. Brooks joins from CBRE, where he was consistently among the top retail regional salespeople over the past 14 years. 
  • Concord Summit Capital, a leading intermediary between sponsors and capital providers for debt and equity financing in commercial real estate transactions, has hired Ryan Granito as Managing Director in its Los Angeles office. Granito joins Concord Summit from Colliers, where he was a vice president in its debt and structured finance group.  Before that, he held development and finance positions at Fundrise, Bolour Associates, Lennar and the San Diego Housing Commission, with a primary focus on residential development.   
  • O’Hara’s Son Roofing has appointed Jake Hyatt as CEO. He succeeds Luke Coleman, who will transition to executive cChairman and remain actively involved in the company’s strategic direction, M&A initiatives, and key customer and supplier relationships. 
  • Costa Mesa-based Corcapa 1031 Advisors has launched 721 UPREIT Solution, a new website dedicated solely to 721 exchange and UPREIT investment advisory services. The site offers real estate investors and their advisors comprehensive educational content on the DST-to-721 pathway, including explanations of how UPREIT structures work, a side-by-side comparison of 1031 and 721 exchange strategies, step-by-step timelines, and an objective look at the benefits and risks of participating in a UPREIT transaction. 
  • ATTOM, a provider of property data, AI-powered intelligence, and real estate analytics solutions, announced the continued expansion of ATTOM Intelligence, introducing an enhanced MCP Server and three specialized AI agents that enable organizations to interact with trusted property intelligence through natural language. The release introduces three purpose-built AI agents that deliver property insights, market analysis, and customer-ready reporting, with additional AI agents and capabilities planned as ATTOM continues to expand ATTOM Intelligence. 
  • Realty Income Corporation has closed on its previously announced private offering of $1.0 billion aggregate principal amount of 3.750% convertible senior notes due 2031. The offering represents the aggregate of both the previously announced offering of $875.0 million, as well as the full exercise of the $125.0 million option to purchase additional notes granted by Realty Income to the initial purchasers of the notes.
