- Newmark has hired Mark Repstad as executive managing director, based in the Downtown Los Angeles office. Repstad has closed more than 650 transactions over the course of his career, totaling 41.4 million square feet and over $2.2 billion in volume. He will focus on enhancing the firm’s industrial service offerings, with a core market spanning the Los Angeles and Inland Empire markets.
- Brian Russell has joined the CBRE National Partners Industrial & Logistics Capital Markets team in Southern California as an EVP. He joins from Eastdil Secured, where he most recently led the Southern California Life Science team as a managing director. During a 13-year commercial real estate career, he has been involved in more than $20 billion in industrial, office, life sciences, multifamily, land and mixed-use transactions.
- Merchants Capital has added Pete Nichol as SVP of originations to expand its footprint to the West Coast. Based in San Franciso, Nichol joins the sales team of Andrew Weil and Justin Ginsberg, with whom he has worked for more than 20 years.
- Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation (MMCC) announced that Kristopher Krise has rejoined the company, bringing his expertise in commercial debt and equity financing to the Sacramento office. Krise began his commercial real estate career with MMCC in the firm’s Encino office, where he worked in both execution and originations from 2013-2018.
- McClellan Park promoted Jennifer Lewis to VP of leasing and property management. She will serve as the primary contact for all leasing efforts across the 3,000-acre master-planned campus in Sacramento, continue property management of the airfield portfolio and collaborate on new development opportunities within McClellan Park.
- The Klabin Company congratulated David A. Prior, SIOR, senior managing principal and the firm’s largest shareholder, on his 46th anniversary with the company. Introduced to company founder Stuart Klabin as an economics major at UCLA, Prior joined the firm on March 5, 1979.
