- Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, said that Keith Malloy, P.E. has been promoted to civil engineering manager in its Los Angeles office. In this role, he will lead the growth and management of the Los Angeles Civil Engineering team and manage select projects.
- Stewart National Commercial Services said that Peggy Sue Lane has been promoted to the role of national sales director effective Oct. 1. Lane joined the company as SVP and regional manager for Southern California, Arizona and Nevada in March 2021. Hired to take over as SVP and regional manager for Southern California is Edwin Kezar, Jr.
- Adam Berlew has joined Equinix as chief marketing officer, returning to the company after previously serving as VP of global marketing at the Redwood City-based company from 2012 to 2015. Berlew brings more than 25 years’ experience in strategic marketing, and has previously held global leadership roles at Atlassian, Google, Broadcom, and Dell. As CMO, Berlew will drive customer acquisition and revenue growth through marketing strategies that align with the company’s vision for Platform Equinix.
- LA-headquartered global developer Aventuur appointed Thomas Rubel as head of development in North America. The new role coincides with the brand’s announcement to launch the continent’s largest rollout of surf parks to date.
- Matthew Landl, associate IALD, assumes a new role as partner at Banks Landl Lighting Design. In his role, Landl oversees the San Francisco and Los Angeles design teams as well as the firm’s strategic direction for growth. In his prior role as principal, he directed design, business development, and client relationships in commercial, hospitality, and residential sectors. In 2021, he oversaw the opening of the LA office and expanded design services to experiential and themed lighting design.
- Del Mar-based Command Technologies, Inc., a construction software technology pioneer, has released Contractor’s Command Post Version 4.0. Key features of Contractor’s Command Post Version 4.0 include net profit forecasting, resource scheduling, seamless integration, comprehensive project tracking and cloud-based accessibility.
- Audubon Engineering Company, a provider of engineering, procurement, construction, field and technical solutions for industrial markets, is expanding its integrated services to California with the opening of an office in San Ramon. Already established across the southern and eastern U.S., Audubon now brings its multidisciplinary solutions to utility and energy companies along the West Coast to support electrical grid modernization, solar and wind development and maintenance, carbon capture and storage, water treatment, and safe pipeline transport.
- The USC Lusk Center for Real Estate’s Ross Program recently celebrated its 30th anniversary, acknowledging a track record of educating and empowering the next generation of diverse real estate executives. The event was held at City Club Los Angeles on Sept. 27, led by keynote speaker Lynne King-Tolliver, founding principal of Archere Investment Management.
