  • Josh Peterson has joined Newmark as director. He brings more than two decades of commercial real estate expertise, specializing in private capital investment sales and office/industrial leasing within the San Francisco Bay Area. Based in Newmark’s San Francisco office, Peterson joins a Private Capital Group led by Mark Geisreiter and Seth McKinnon. Throughout his career, Peterson has orchestrated transactions exceeding $1 billion in value, encompassing more than three million square feet of space. His geographical focus spans across San Francisco, the North Bay and the inner-East Bay regions. Previously, Peterson worked at CBRE for 11 years, following its acquisition of The CAC Group, where he began his real estate career in 2004. 
  • Logistics Property Company, LLC, has appointed Joel Wicks as SVP, acquisitions for the company’s West region, based in the company’s Los Angeles office. He will be responsible for sourcing and closing core plus and value-add industrial investments across West Coast markets.Wicks brings 18 years’ experience in real estate to the role. Before joining Logistics Property Company, he served as principal, industrial acquisitions for an international investment management firm, where he acquired more than 18 million square feet of industrial properties valued in excess of $2.4 billion. 
  • Design firm Lionakis has promoted Brian Bell to education market lead. With 33-plus years in the architecture industry, Bell has brought success to Lionakis’ educational projects throughout California. In his new role, he leads the firm’s education practice across California, with an emphasis on maintaining the firm’s presence in Northern California and growing the K-12 and higher education sectors in Southern California.  
  • Pasadena-based ExchangeRight, one of the nation’s leading providers of diversified real estate DST and REIT investments, is now serving more than 8,000 investors who trust the company to steward their wealth with investments that generate capital preservation and reliable returns regardless of historic economic volatility. The company has provided every ExchangeRight investor with monthly distributions that have met or exceeded initial projections from inception-to-date across all 93 of the company’s past and current offerings.  
  • Matterport, Inc. , a pioneer in the digital twin and 3D capture space, has reached the milestone of one million subscribers to its digital twin cloud platform. In 2019, the company sought to democratize 3D capture technology for everyone.  This approach has resulted in 75x subscriber growth in five years, growing from 13,000 subscribers in late 2018 to over one million today.
