California Investor Picks Up Nevada Medical in JV
Cypress West Partners acquired Parkway Medical Plaza, an 88,958-square-foot medical office building located at 100 N. Green Valley Parkway in Henderson, NV. The Southern California-based healthcare investment, leasing and property management firm acquired the property with Austin, TX-based Virtus Real Estate Capital.
Built in 1997, Parkway Medical Plaza is 95% occupied with tenants that include Healthcare Partners, Parkway Surgery Center, a joint venture with Dignity St. Rose Dominican and USPI, and CareMore.
Cypress West Partners’ Chris Cumella says, “Parkway Medical Plaza represents the rare opportunity to acquire a true Class A quality medical office building in the Las Vegas market.”
The deal marks the first joint venture for the two firms. The acquisition brings Cypress West’s total portfolio to more than two million square feet in three major southwest U.S. markets.
