California Company Planning Cy-Ops Center
Freedom Security Alliance Inc. of San Diego announced it plans to move the core of its operations to San Antonio by the end of 2017. The reason? Office space and talent pool. At this time, the company is looking at 20,000 to 40,000 square feet either in the central business district, or along Loop 1604.
The local location will be used to hunt cybercriminals, while defending business networks in real time. Freedom Security Alliance will keep its California office for marketing and sales, while the cybersecurity analysis operation will be in San Antonio. The company will house approximately 120 people to cover several shifts.
The company’s co-founding partner and COO Joel Richey told the San Antonio Business News that it was difficult to scale the company on the West Coast, especially given its rate of growth.
