California Casualty Relocates San Mateo HQ

California Casualty is relocating its long-time Peninsula headquarters to Beacon Capital Partners’ Crossroads II at 1875 S. Grant St. in San Mateo, CA. The family-owned auto and home insurer sought a more modern, efficient workplace for 110 employees at the company’s HQ, and is taking 31,000 square feet on the 8th and 10th floors.

California Casualty’s Beau Brown says employees played a significant role in selecting the new site. “California Casualty has many long term employees in our office with 25 or more years with the company, so staying in San Mateo was very important to our management team.”

Savills Studley’s Luke Raimondo and Matt Chatham handled the relocation on behalf of the 104-year-old company. California Casualty is relocating from 1900 Alameda de las Pulgas in San Mateo, where it had occupied space for 47 years.
