Colliers represented seller DSI Development in the sale of a Maywood, IL industrial facility to a California investor making its first Chicago-area acquisition

California-Based Pacifica Real Estate Makes First Chicago-Area Buy

Colliers’ Jeff Devine and Steve Disse represented DSI Development in the sale of a 79,869-square-foot warehouse/distribution facility located at 1900 Maywood Dr. in Maywood, IL, to California based Pacifica Real Estate for an undisclosed price. It is Pacifica’s first Chicago-area industrial purchase.

Completed in August 2022, the last-mile logistics facility sits on a 5.43-acre site with abundant parking and 32’ clear ceiling heights. It was leased upon completion to The Kroger Company and serves as a critical logistics station for the grocer’s home delivery services to the densely populated surrounding area.

“Investors were attracted to the quality of this facility in a highly accessible infill location,” said Devine, an executive managing director for capital markets and principal at Colliers.  “The long-term lease with a high-quality tenant provides the buyer with a dependable income stream from this Class A facility.”
