Café Metro Leases 5K SF in Midtown

Café Metro signed a 12-year lease for the 5,181 square feet of retail space at 240-246 W. 35th St., an 18-story building in the Garment District of Midtown Manhattan.

“Our strong Midtown location, coupled with its close proximity to Penn Station and the 34th Street/Herald Square subway terminal, make it an ideal location,” says Neil Adamson of ATCO Properties & Management, which acquired the building in Dec. 2016 and has completed several capital improvements including a new lobby renovation, common corridor upgrades and sidewalk improvements. Currently, an elevator upgrade/modernization is underway.

John Cinosky, president of Atco Brokerage Services, represented the landlord in the long-term transaction, while Stu Morden and Lucas Kooyman of Newmark Knight Frank represented the tenant.
