CA Ventures Launches Student Housing Tower Near Purdue

CA Ventures’ student housing division has begun construction on RISE on Chauncey, a 16-story, 675-bed development near Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. The property will have frontage on West Lafayette’s State Street, currently undergoing a comprehensive redevelopment effort, and is expected to deliver in summer 2019.

“The robust infrastructure investment along State Street, combined with growing enrollments, presented the perfect opportunity to bring new, highly amenitized student housing to West Lafayette,” said JJ Smith, president of CA Student Living. “We believe RISE on Chauncey will draw from a large base of students, including those from other countries, looking for lifestyle-oriented housing in a pedestrian-to-campus location with nearby retail and entertainment.”

The development will be the tallest building in West Lafayette, with 15 stories of residences set atop 11,000 square feet of street-level retail space and three levels of underground parking.
